Severe Pain In Elbow Area, Hurts To Straighten And Bend. Took Naproxen. Tendinitis ?

I am having severe pain in my elbow area. It hurts when I just lift a cup. It started off as a mild pain about a week ago,but I had to move and lift many heavy items this week getting my classroom ready, now pain is much worse. It hurts to just straighten and bend my arm . Feels best if I keep it bent. Could this be tendinitis? What would work best for relief? I have Been taking naproxen 500 mg twice a day.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
It can be tennis elbow. I would suggest you to see a orthopedic surgeon. He may suggest you to get MRI of the elbow. This will confirm the diagnosis. As far as treatment is concerned, you need to take rest, apply tennis elbow support and naughty need a steroid injection. In resistant cases where none of the above mentioned treatment is working, surgery can be done.
