Severe Pain In Breasts On Coughing Sneezing. Had Cough, Yellow Sputum. On Hormone Replacement Therapy. Related To?

I have had a cough for a couple of weeks that produced thick, yellow, and sometimes even chunky sputum. It has gotten better slowly, but since yesterday I have experienced severe pain in my breasts, mostly the right one, when I cough or sneeze. It feels deep, but the pain is definitely in my breast tissue. I am 45, in menopause, and 3 months ago was put on hormone replacement therapy. Do you think this is hormonal or is this respiratory or chest muscle wall related?

Hello,
thanks for using health care magic

it is likely that you are having a chest infection for the
reasons that
-you cough and
-you have yellowish sputum

It would be better to meet a doctor for detail
examination and for tests; chest x-ray and breast ultrasound
if necessary.

Best regards
Dr Achuo
