The doctor is not totally unjustified in suggesting what he said. Sometimes children may behave in that way if they have experienced any such insult. But yes you are full justified in taking a second opinion
. Even if you have to consult a child psychologist
, its not bad. he psychologist will help to first eliminate any such episode. If nothing has happened you will be assured. And God forbid, if anything has happened, the psychologist will help your child get over that. Look at it in this way. I hope and it is unlikely that any such thing has happened, but visiting a psychologist will help in ruling it out.
