Thank you for posting this question in HCM,
Let me tell you that a given medical symptom can be due to various causes and this applies to headache too. Headache can be due to various causes like
brain tumor, infection, problems in the blood vessels of brain,
migraine,
cluster headache,
stress, low or high brain pressure and so on. You have to note certain things 1. the diagnosis of migraine and cluster headache are basically diagnosis of exclusion. 2. The presence or absence of certain symptoms can help us narrow down the differential diagnosis. ( Sorry that i donot know your gender and the presence or absence of certain symptoms like
vomiting, sensitivity to light, weakness of legs, hands etc).
Based upon the symptoms that you have posted the possibility could be migraine or cluster headache. How ever both these diagnoses are done after ruling out certain conditions.
My advise to you will be to undergo a neurological assessment by a local
neurologist who will tell us if there is any neurological deficit based upon the examination. This will help us decide about a brain scan. If the examination and brain scans are normal the formal interview with a local neurologist will uncover things that you have not posted and this interview will help us guide you if you have migraine or cluster headache or anything else. This is important as treatment of all these conditions are different. Note that your symptoms could be related to high pressure but it is certainly not related to low pressure as there is no postural change.
Hence i strongly advise you to go for a detailed neurological check up
Note that you will certainly benefit with it
Hope this clarifies
