Severe Headache, Stiffness In The Neck. What Is The Reason?

hi, last 2-3 days morning I am waking with a severe head ache on my right side of the head. It feels on the right temple above the right eye and at the back right side of the head simultaneously. and a kind of stiffness on the right side of the neck. then after passing stools i get a relief. This has happened earlier to me but only once in a two weeks or so. I am sleeping in a room with air conditioner and I have stiff nose ever morning.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

Based on details i learn that you have R) sided headache with neck pain of short duration. This can be due to cervical myofascitis (inflammation of fascia and muscle), or can be due to vascular headache, or due to structural lesion in brain.

You should visit neurologist/ family physician for clinical examination to make sure the cause of headache and CT scan brain to rule out structural lesion in brain.

Hope this would help you
