Severe Hair Loss, Feeling Shaky. Normal Thyroid Test Report. What Else Could Be Causing This?
Im having strange symptoms. 1.) I have hair loss, lots daily. 2.) I feel "shaky" inside, it's not visible on the outside but I feel it on the inside. 3.) My armpits perspire regularly, seems on "que" everyday for no reason. Even when I'm sitting around doing nothing. 4.) Suddenly I have this weird feeling in my lower lip, when I open them it sometimes feels like a string is attached or something is crawling very lightly across it. I thought some of these issues were due to my thyroid but my Dr. did tests and says he saw "nothing remarkable" to me that means something could still be wrong but just in the early stages at this point. What do you think?
Hi, Thanks for writing in. Hair loss is a common but difficult to treat problem. Androgenetic alopecia is a common cause of hair loss along with thyroid diseases , nutritional deficiency ,anemia etc. Excessive sweating can be due to endocrine abnormality apart from thyroid. A full body examination with detail work up can be helpful. Endocrine problems can cause perspiration ,shaky feeling etc. An endocrinologist can help a lot in your case. Hope this helps.
