Welcome to HCM,
You have suffered a Viral infection and still having cough, this may be due to involvement of pleura a membrane out side lungs if they are inflamed they rub against each other and cause severe pain with cough and deep inspiration.
Please visit a Physician and get yourself examined for preurisy if required a X ray may be required and proper treatment with analgesic, antibiotics and cough supprasants will help to recover in few days.
It also depent on cause of infection we need to rule out Tuberculosis also in such cases.
Please take care.
Good luck to you.
