Severe acidity, headache, backache, gaseous, irregular bowel movements after eating in restaurants. Remedy?

hello i m suyash patwardhan i am having acidity problem since last 9 months but now it has increased and sometime i also get head ache and my back also aches and evne i have gases and some times irregular bowl, the problem is that i have class from 7am to 3pm but sometimes before class i don t empty my stomach and so i have to hold on which causes gases and stomach ache and also i had been eating a lot in restaurants , fastfood etc but now i have reduced it can u suggest me a remedy for this and also a proper diet .

Hi Suyash,
Thanks for writing your query.

The symptoms you have mentioned are due to increased acid production in the stomach. This can be due to faulty lifestyle and eating habbits.

You should follow some precautions like :-
1. Avoid spicy and oily foods.
2. Avoid emotional/mental stress.
3. Avoid cigarette and alcohol.
4. Donot miss a meal.
5. Donot self medicate especially with pain killers and steroids.

You can take antacid Like Omeprazole 20 mg along with Domperidone 10 mg once a day for relief of your symptoms after getting yourself examined by a gastroenterologist.

You should follow the habbit of clearing your bowels daily preferably in the morning.
Also avoid eating in resturants. Take home made meals prepared in hygeinic conditions.
