Several non-raised spots of left arm to wrist, pain in index finger with burning. Serious?

Hi. I had several non-raised brown spots appear on my left arm a few weeks ago from the upper arm down to the wrist . The spots are more frequently toward the wrist. Along with that my index finger is very painful and my wrist feels almost like a burning sensation. Not sure if I should be concerned that this is something serious or not.
