Seizure. Using Eption. Done CT Scan, MRI, EEG And ECG. Decrease Dosage?

Hello Doctor, i am using Eption since last 10 years, earlier it started with 300mg as up to 8 years i didn't had any seizure, but suddenly in last year i got once again after 8 years so consult with doctor so he advice me to check syrum level which found low so he increase the dose to 350mg & also 30mg of Lobazom, and he advise me to check the syrum level on regular base. So, i am checking on regular base for last 2-years it goes up now and has crossed the limit from 20 to 25.

As my all tests CT, MRI, EEG, ECG all are Ok but now i feel pain on my right side, it started from leg in initial and slowly now its on complete half side of body (right side). So, what u suggest.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
The dose of Eptoin has to be increased periodically, if this is not done then there is chances of having fit again, some time the other drug (Benzodiazepine) need to be included along with the eptoin , your body pain is not related with your seizure, for that you can try some analgesic, with some vitamin supplement if does not subside then consult the physician for clinical examination, take care have nice day.

Hello,
I have gone tgrough your query and understood yoir concerns. In my opinion you need to consult neurologist for this. I also advice to have repeat mri done after waiting for some days. The symptoms suggests nerve compression also so nerve study must also be done. Hope this information helps you. You need to be regularly consult your doctor and also check whether increasing the dose causing any problem.... Ifbso you need to take the normal dose you have took before and observe for the change and also stop usibg the new drug after consulting your doctor. Thank you.
