Scraped Tendons Of Finger. Have Stitches. Why Swelling And Pain Is Prominent?

i have 8 stitches in my wrist they re not from a deep wound and they said i only scraped the tendons but my little finger and from the base of my wrist to the tip of my pinky is having PAINFUL electric shooting pains that also throb and ache they come in waves and the swelling comes and goes the bruising is just starting and i know that this is part of the healing process but how can i ease the pain of this.

Hi,
After reading your query I can make out that due to nerve regeneration you are getting all the symptoms enumerated are due to regeneration of nerves which is known as wallerian regeneration. You should ask your treating doctor to give vitamin B complex containing Vitamin B12 or cyancobalamine.
