Scan report said fetal renal pelvis and ureter dilated. Is it harmful?

HI IAM Smt.sreedevi now iam carrying GA 34 WEEKS 3 DAYS MY DOCTOR TOLD DO SCANNING TODAY EIGHT MONTH FINISHING MY SCAN REPORT CAME LIKE FETAL RENAL PELVIS AND URETER ARE DIALTED AP diameter of right renal pelvis measures~11.69 mm. AP ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,left renal pelvis measures~9.59mm. is it ok no problem to my child

Welcome to healthcare Magic!
It is problematic to have renal pelvis dilation findings because they indicate some pathology in the fetus KUB. The child should be managed by a urologist/pediatric surgeon immediately after birth. There can be many causes for such problem like obstructing valves at the ureter end, ureter opening atresia, straight opening of ureter leading to reflux of urine to name a few.
The child would most likely need a surgical intervention.
