Scan Done. What Does Findings Suggest? Treatment?

There is grade I anterior listhesis of L4 over L5 vertebra with spondytotysis of L5 bilateratty. Mitd

subtuxation of L4 vertebra towards left side. ]

Diffuse disc butge is seen at L4-L5 levet, causing thecal sac compression. Ligamentum ftavum thickening

and facetal hypertrophic changes are seen at this levet, further contributing to spinal canat, latera[

recess and neural foraminal compromise. There is compression of the right exiting L4 nerve root.

Diffuse annutar disc bulge is seen at L5-S1 levet, causing thecal sac indentation.

The conus meduttaris appears normat. The pre & paravertebral soft tissues appear normal.

Thanks for writing to HCM

You have age related degenerative disease of spine.
Spondylolisthesis is noted at L4-5 level with anterior movement of L4 vertebra over L5.Subluxation is also noted at L4 vertebra.
Diffuse disc bulge is noted at L4-5 level. It is due to weakness in annulus fibrosis. It is causing compression over thecal sac.Ligamentum flavum is also hypertrophied.
Facetal hypertrophy at L4-5 level and it is causing narrowing of neural foramen with compression of exiting right L4 nerve roots.
Diffuse disc bulge is also noted at L5-S1 level.
Rest of findings are normal.
Treatment is either physiotherapy or surgical.
You should consult Neurosurgeon .
