i have sarcoid in the lung and recently in the heart i am 53, i have also in april this year had a pace maker fitted, I have over the last coupld of weeks been suffering from lack of sleep I wake up in anxiety after a couple of hours, my heart appears to skip/miss (although I know it doesn't) and I have tingling in both arms hands, and becuse of lack of sleep I am having bad headaches everyday - I cant see my GP today what should i do
Thanks for your health concerns. As you have realized, sarcoidosis can be a multisystemic disease; cardiopulmonary involvement has been noted in your particular case. With a potential substrate, I think that further investigations are needed, as involvement of the nervous system, albeit rare, has been reported. A qualified provider should perform a physical and complete neurologi examaination to rule out abnormalities, and determine if further workup is needed.
Hope this helps, wish you the best health,
