Safety Of Eslo 2.5 For Weak Liver
i have been taking eslo 2.5 for hypertension for last three years. i have been also diagnosed as having fatty liver as my indirect bilirubin is in the range of 1.3. direct bilirubin and other enzymes are within normal range. recently i have found in net that s-amlodipine is contraindicated for liver insufficiency.please advise should i continue with eslo 2.5.

You dont have liver insufficiency since the liver enzymes are within normal range. Fatty liver can be due to variety of causes including diabetes and alcohol intake. The cause of fatty liver should be found out and treated accordingly. You can continue to take eslo if your bp is under good control. If you are still worried, you can always switch to a "liver-safe" antihypertensive drug - there are so many choices today.....please discuss with your physician.
