Hello Doctor, Recently I've ruptured my right ear while cleaning it up with a cotton bud 4-days ago. Since then I'm having a pain in the ear. I've consulted a GP who gave an liquid (Polydexa antibiotic) to apply, drain few mins later and a cream (Triderm) to apply in the inner part of the ear. Two days later I still felt the pain and the water dripping out of my ear continuously and it was colorless.
I went back to him again and this time in addition to the above medications he gave me a oral antibiotic (Curam 625Mg) as well. The pain has reduced a little bit but the discharge from my ear continues but the color changed to yellow in color.

How long it would take to completely cure this? I'm not able to sleep properly as if I turned to other side while sleeping, the water gets accumulated in the affected ear and it causes headache and pain to the area around the ear.
