Rigid gas permeable lenses and there is a small black dot

I just picked up my Rigid Gas Permeable lenses and there is a small black dot on the edge of the right one. Is that normal? I haven t worn hard ones before. Also, why do I have to wait until 24 hours after I soak them before I can use them?

Hi welcome to Healthcaremagic

hi... the first thing is you must maintain cleanliness.., strict aseptic precaution while removing and inserting... it is better to use soft contact lens than hard lens, as the usable is easy and also , it is not harmful to cornea while removing and inserting... you need to get examined by ophthalmologist, to rule out fungal infection, which is common in the contact lens users..
Hope I have answered your question..
