Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pain on one side of the knee that coes and goes can be due to an injury to the internal structures of the knee joint. An MRI scan of the knee will help in diagnosis.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
