Hi there,

Thank you for choosing HCM for your query.
We would be glad to help.
As I understand it, you have been suffering from headache and stuffy nose for the last 8 months. There are several possibilities:
1. You may be suffering from chronic sinusitis and may need a prolonged course of antibiotics to clear your infection.

2. It may be that you may have allergic fungal sinusitis for which you may need antifungals and antiallergic treatment.

3.Sometimes allergic sinusitis can continue for prolonged periods and then lead to chronic sinusitis. You can try eliminating things from your environment ( like mould in the house, dust, cockroaches) that cause you to sneeze and have itchy nose. Avoid going out at times when there is maximum pollen count during the day if you live in an area where pollen counts remain high.

It would be best for you to consult an ENT specialist/Allergist and Immunologist who can examine your nose and sinuses and then can direct you in the right direction.

Regards,
Dr. Sumeet.
