Right Arm Injury, Soreness, Tingling Sensation In Arm, Hand. Medical Attention Required?

I fell about 2 weeks ago and to brace my fall I extended my right arm out. I did hit the ground and it bent my right hand forward. It did not break anything, just made it sore. But now I get a tingling sensation in my right arm and hand. I am 5 ft 7, 55 years old, female and weigh about 160. Is it something I need to see a Dr. about or will it go away?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
It seems that due to the stress of fall, there is some injury to some of the nerve fibers. Since there is no bone injury, this will resolve spontaneously in 2-3 weeks.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
