Trauma to a joint is a dreaded incidence because it predisposes to short term as well as long term complications such as infections, osteoarthritis
, neural or vascular damage etc. It is likely that a ligament or even bone got injured since the trauma was followed by immediate pain, swelling and it took quite sometime for you to be able to move the arm.
The sensitivity of elbow does not appear to be normal as it sound as though there is an underlying neural irritation somewhere. So, it is preferable you see a Doctor or an orthopedic surgeon for a detail examination to rule out any complication or to re-assure you if there is non.
