Hello.Welcome to HCM forum.Your daughter seems to be suffering from Juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). this is the commonest rheumatic disease of childhood, defined as persistent arthritis lasting more than 6 weeks. It is very important to recognize the disease early and treat early, before irreversible deformity and joint damage occurs.Although corticosteroids are advised in this condition but since they have SE of growth suppression, intra articular injections are used to minimize this. This condition should best be managed under a specialist,so you must consult a RHEUMATOLOGIST as early as possible. Thanks and good luck.
