(JIA). this is the commonest rheumatic disease of childhood,defined as persistent arthritis
lasting more than 6 weeks.It is very important to recognize the disease early and treat early,before irreversible deformity and joint damage occurs.Although corticosteroids
are advised in this condition but since they have SE of growth suppression,intra articular injections are used to minimize this.This condition should best be managed under a specialist,so you must consult a RHEUMATOLOGIST
