Removed Tampon. Abnormal Discharge With Pain. Why Is It?

Last sat morning I couldn't remember if I had removed my last tampon. I've had a good look and nothing seems to be there but today I've had a bit if pinkish discharge and mild kind of period pain. I'm putting it down to my cycle though because surely if a tampon had been in for a week I would have noticed other symptoms?

Hi,
It seems that remained tampon inside vaginal canal for this much time might have produced some irritation and infection giving rise to this problem.
Consult Gynaec and get examined for having any infection.
After examination she will go for line of treatment.
Keep local part clean, dry and airy.
Ok and take care.
