Refill Of Hydrocodone With Wrong Label And Yellow Pill With Imprint Of 170 On One Side. Suggested Same Pill By Other Company. Suggest

Hello I just refilled my hydrocodone/acetaminophen 1-325 mg. When I got the bottle home, the label was wrong . I called them and they said the pill is the same but just another manufacturer. This is a yellow pill oblong with a imprint of 170 on one side , nothing on the other. What really does the imprint mean on these pills? The first one's I got were white with m367 on pill. Not sure now what Im taking and as far as Im concerened they should have changed the lable also. Thanks for your help and also want to know if these can be broke in half?

Hello,

Thanks for posting on HCM,

They could be the same drugs but it is always safer to consult with your doctor before you take any treatment with another brand name. They could have the same ingredients but they have different doses (which is not as your doctor prescribed). If getting to your doctor is going to be a problem, you can go back to the clinic where you are treated and ask a nurse attendant if there is a difference between the two drugs by presenting the two bottles.

Hope this helps
