hello doctor, i woke up this morning and my right eye was very red and when i looked at it in the mirror closely when i move my eyes to the extreme right it seems to be folding (my eye ball),it feels like there is something in my eye ........overtime it has decreased in redness and now its very slightly red (very subtle) .
please help ,is it conjuntivitus(but there is no pain or discharge)
Hi.. Thanks for the query... If the eye is still red you can start using antibiotic eye drops.. Or you can just start with lubricating eye drops which give relief.. It could be a mild form of viral conjunctivitis or a dry eye... Take care...
Hello, It is unlikely to be conjunctivitis as there is no discharge. The symptoms you have mentioned her e are suggestiive of conjunctival chemosis or edema of conjunctiva which can follow following fall of foreign particles into eyes or exposure to dust or follwing fall of insect mainly because of allergic reaction. If the redness has come down no need to worry and if the symptoms persist then please do consult eye doctor to rule out any foreign body in the eye. Thank you
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having some allergic reaction due to fell some insect in your eye causing allergic edema and redness. Clean your eye with plane water and put some antibiotic or anti-allergic eye drops. Ok and take care.
