Redness And Swelling Around The Bite Mark With A White Ring On The Outside, Pains On Touching, Increasing In Size. Treatment Required?

my daughter is 6 years old and has a bite on her inner thigh. she says she did not notice being bit. it is red and swollen around the bite mark with a white ring on the outside. it is warm to touch and feels hard. she says it hurts to touch. it has gotten bigger throughout the day. should i bring her to doctor tommorrow?

Yes, you should take her to the doctor tomorrow.

Meanwhile, apply ice packs locally to the affected area thrice a day for ten minutes. You can apply calamine lotion for the inflammation to subside.

Also, give her anti-histamine like Zyrtec syrup so that the allergy, if any, reduces.

She should be fine soon.
