Redness And Swelling After Getting Stung On Finger. Taken Ibuprofen. Normal?

My daughter was stung (not sure by what) on her middle finger on Saturday. Today is Monday and it is still red and swollen. Now, two pink lins about 1/2 inch have appeared on the on the inside of the finger near the sting. We have been giving her ibuprofen . Sould we take her to see her pediatrician or is this normal?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

You should take your kid to pediatrician and get the finger checked up.

A tetanus dose should be given depending on her previous vaccination history.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
