Reddish Purple Bruise With Fluid In The Middle Of Ankle. Painful And Sensitive To Touch

I have a deep reddish purple bruise with tiny fluid filled bumps in the middle of it right above my ankle. The size of the bruised area is about size of the circle made when you put your index finger and thumb together. The area of the fluid filled bumps is about the size of a dime. The area is quite painful an sensitive to the touch. What could this be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
hi. Seems to be a case of vasculitis(Inflammation of blood vessels) or Fixed drug eruption judging from the description you gave. You should consult dermatologist so that you can undergo proper investigations for it. Skin biopsy is a must.
General advice like rest and avoid hanging your leg.
Take analgesics like Bruffen.
Any history of any drug intake preceding it?
