You have not mentioned the exact timing since the problem is present. There can be multiple possibilities of the problem as per this short history. It would be better to fix an appointment with a dermatologist
to check for the best possibility of the problem.
Even then till that time there are certain suggestions which can be doen to reduce the problem:
-Apply over the counter calamine
lotion 3-4 times a day over body and not on scalp
-Do cold water compresses to reduce the intensity of itching.
-Do not scratch or rub the skin as it can lead to further aggravation.
-The best measure is to take oral anti histamine
or levocetrizine under medical advise.
