As per the submission the blotches appear to be echymoses/purpuric spots due to deficiency in capillary integrity (may be due to lack of Platelets in blood) leading to subcutaneous release of capillary blood as the resolution occurs when time progresses the colour lightens up. Any h/o febrile illness in the recent past?
Kindly get your general physical examination done by a Physician/Internal Medicine specialist
along with complete hemogram especially Platelet Count/Blood Urea nitrogen(BUN) and Creatinine
Meanwhile empirically T.Vit C 500 mg PO daily and if irritaion/itching occurs Lotio Calamine
to the affected area will be very helpful.
Please avoid Aspirin
or any other painkillers and also Alcohol as they are likely to aggravate the condition.
