Red Rash On Ankles And Calves, No Itching, Swelling
Strange red rash around the ankles and calves, starting on the left leg and moving to right after a few days, accompanied by tightness in the skin on the palms and side of the thumbs, with small blister like bumps. Rash on legs doesnt itch , skin gets a bit swollen, had same symptoms about 10 months ago, had lots of tests, then it went away without any answers. just noticed it coming back. first occured in perth australia last april. still in perth, first symptom was tight skin and small blisters on the lower palms and side of the thumbs. (remembered that was what happened 10 months ago) then noticed blotchy rash growing on my left ankle (concentrating on scar tissue on my leg) .

Thanks for posting your query. I feel it is difficult to sort out the problem from your description. How ever I could think of certain possibilities. The first of which could be an urticaria. The reason being, it is the second episode and last time it vanished without any sequele. This could be due to allergy which again could be induced by so many substances like heat, cold, water, pressure, stress, infections, infestations, inhalations, ingestion, injections, instillations drugs etc. I suggest that you consult the same doctor for a better diagnosis and treatment. If you want further opinion I need all the old investigation reports and the present photograph of the lesion.
