is a viral infection- first it starts as itchy red rash, then becomes a blister
, then crusts and heals. Usually more rash is seen on chest, back, face and scalp than on the limbs.
HFMD- is also a viral infection- presents with fever, sores in the mouth and then red rashes in palms, feet, buttocks etc- they may become blisters- but usually don`t cause itching. Its self limiting.
is a bacterial infection and presents with pus filled lesions or crusty lesions as in impetigo
. They need to be treated with antibiotics. They present with fever, crusty lesions will cause itching.
But without seeing the lesions- one can not conclude.
Your doctor would have arrived at the conclusion after examination of the lesions- Please follow his advice.
