Red Bumps On Arm, Swollen, Sensitive. Rarely Itchy

I woke up last saturday morning with 2 red bumps on my arm . They were somewhat swollen and sensitive. They also had white heads. I thought maybe it was just acne , so I popped them. The bumps have not gone away and are spreading. Each one has a white head on it. The morning I woke up with them, the bumps were somewhat sensitive to touch, but now they aren t sensitive at all, and are rarely itchy.

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing here.

It seems you are having molluscum.

It is a viral infection.

Do not try to rupture the lesions or infection will spread.

There are many treatment options are available for treating molluscum.

It will be better to consult a dermatologist.

Hope this will help you.Take care.
