Red Bump On Pubic Area, Ingrown Hair And Boil, Itchy, Pus And Bleeding. Help

I'm a 15 year old guy. I have noticed a red bump near the top of my pubic area (about 2 inches below my waist line) about the size of a dime. It didn't itch, but was tender. It looked like something was oozing out so I squeezed it, and a large amount of clear brownish paste like stuff came out. It was followed by some puss and blood. The bump is still there and it has hair around it so I thought it may be an ingrown hair or boil. Please help!

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The red and itchy painful bump that you have is likely to be due to folliculitis. This is an active infection which needs a course of systemic antibiotics for proper treatment.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
