Red Bump Inside Bottom Eyelid, Peeling Fleshy Thick Pieces , Redness In Conjuctiva With Blister, Yellow Clear Fluid Discharge, Swollen Eyelids, Blue Eyes. Infection?

The inside of my bottom eyelid had something on it that looked a little like a sty with a yellow center about a month ago. I left it alone thinking my body would take care of it. It never bothered me after that and I just forgot about it. Until tonight I was rubbing my eye because it felt like I had an eyelash or something in it. That's when I noted that same sty-looking thing was still there, but no yellow center. It just appeared to be a red bump. Not painful. But inside of my eyelid around the bump seemed to be peeling. Thin mucous membrane. As I pulled at the stringy pieces that accumulated in the corner of my eye, more fleshy thicker pieces came off. As I pulled it off my eye felt less irritated, but the conjunctiva is red and even has a clear blister on it. Also I was tearing clear yellowy fluid and at one point, pink tears. Not like pus, just watery. Now my top and bottom eyelids are so swollen, my eye is like a slit, and I look like I've been punched in the eye. Noticed too that the upper part of my iris looks a little milky, unlike the lower part which looks normal in color. My eyes are blue, if that matters. What is happening to my eye??? I'm really getting worried. Is it an infection?

Hello,
welcome to Healthcaremagic.
I think you are affected by Preseptal cellulitis or periorbital cellulitis.
It is one of the potential complication of Stye ( Hordeolum).
It is a inflammation ( pain and swelling) in the soft tissues around eyeball.
It requires the systemic antibiotics.

You may need incision and drainage of the stye.
Bactracin or tobramicin oimnent can be used for topical.
Cloxacillin or tetracycline tablets are used for systemic antibiotics.

Seek Ophthalmoligst advice for further management.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
