Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi there,

Thank you for choosing HCM.
Will be glad to help.
These pinhead sized red brown dots may be petechiae which are an indication of low platelets- the cells that help the blood to clot. It would be advisable to have your son examined by a pediatrician immediately to confirm the same. Your doctor will also get a platelet count if they feel the need to do so after examination of your son.
Till then try to avoid any injuries or falls from happening.

Dr. Sumeet.
