Recurring Severe Stabbing Pain Under Rib Cage, Fever, Chills, Sweat, diarrhea, Bloating. History Of Ovarian Cysts, Hypochondria And Anxiety. Help

I have a sever stabbing pain that comes and goes in my right side under my rib age. No fever. No nausea. Three days ago I thought I had what was food poisoning. Low grade fever, shakes, chills, sweats, diarrhea yesterday and gas that won't pass today the stabbing pain started. Not spreading to the back or sides. I have a history of ovarian cysts with somewhat similar pain as they previously filled my abdomen with fluid. I felt like I had one go on the right side last night. But, the pain is concerning me since I am bloated and full of gas. I am scared of pancreatitis especially since a case after a double nephrectomy killed my father. I do not have kidney disease. I am scared, a borderline hypochondriac and someone who suffers with immense anxiety. My insurance sucks. Please, please help me.

Hi, You have stabbing pain in the right side under the rib cage, three days back had fever chills, shakes, sweats and diarrhea.
Don't mingle everything with your symptoms. You had diarrhea and now got pain, so it could be due to infection of intestines. I to my patients with such symptoms prescribe injection micacin 250 BID, ranitidine, and anti spasmodic when ever necessory. Thank you.
