Recurring Pilonidal Sinus After Surgery, Advised Another Surgery. Is It Possible To Cure It Without Surgery?
HI..my sister is suffering from pilonidal sinus since 4-5 yrs. she had been operated once..but again she have got it back..doctors have suggested for a surgery..but v fear that it may recurr back..is that any possible way to treat it without surgery..and is there any specialist doctor for pilonidal sinus..one of the doctors suggested to show it to a neurologist as it this prob is coonected with nerves..according to him..is it true..pl give us a solution..looking for a positve feedback..thanks in advance

Pilonidal sinuses may recur with any kind of management. most basic thing to prevent the recurrence is to maintain good hyegiene at the affected area.
Drink plenty of water, and eat fresh fruits and leafy vegetables.
As far as another surgery is concerened it should be decided by the degree of discomfort patient is having, sign, and symptoms of the patient and examination of affected area.
Regarding other management one can expect good recovery and delayed recurrence with homoeopathy.
