I am suffering from acidity and gas frequently. I m 70 yrs old and had a gall bladder stone operation in January, 2010. Is this due to the recurrence of gall bladder problem or something else? Please suggest what should I do.

hi,thanks for query. There can not recurrence of gall stones once gall bladder is removed.Try to talk to your treating doctor and look for the other cause like diet problems etc.Take small frequent meals, avoid diet like pickles, fermented foods etc.Avoid taking any pain killers without advise from your doctor.Do regular exercise like walking etc.regards,Dr.Pragnesh
