Recovering From Cancer. Strep Throat, Nausea After Being On Antibiotics. History Of Same Symptoms Causing Pneumonia. Recurrance?

I am recovering from a rarer form of cancer, recently I came down with strep throat and have taken a lot of antibiotics, but I am experiencing nausea that I commonly get with rounds of pneumonia and with strep. I also get nausea after a round of antibiotics and usually settle that down with yogurt. So, do I put my car in for service tomorrow a,m. or do I hit the doctors office and make sure it is not pneumonia?

Thanks for posting the query on HCM.

Considering the recurrent secondary respiratory infections you are having, its better to see your doctor at the initial stages. The cause of recurrence needs to be evaluated. Antibiotic selection needs to be done by the physician if it is a bout of pneumonia. Also do get yearly flu vaccination and 5 yearly pneumococcal vaccination.
