Recovered From Viral Fever, Have Severe Throat Infection Causing Difficulty In Swallowing Food. What Should Be Done?

Sir,I have been suffering from viral fever from last five days.I have recovered mostly except that i have very severe throat infection which is making my life very difficult.I can t even swallow my food.What should i do?what medicine i should take?I have already consulted Doctor regarding my viral fever.But my throat pain is intact.Please,help me.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some bacterial infection along with viral.
Go for one antibiotic medicine course after consulting your doctor.
Take some decongestant medicines to get symptomatic relief.
Avoid cold drinks and junk food.
Do warm salt water gargles.
Ok and take care.
