Reason For The Dark Spot In The Eye?
I was hit in the eye by a soccer ball during my game. Eye feels a little scratched. I had a dark spot in my vision on the loer left. The spot has reduced. Kind of like a dark foggy area now. What causes the dark spot? Do I need to go see someone or will it heal on it's own? Thanks Mary

The dark spot could be because of vitreous degeneration.. or it could be a hemorrhage inside the eye as a result of injury..
This generally resolves spontaneously but better to see an ophthalmologist because blunt injury to the eye (like the injury what you had) can cause other damage to the eye also..
