Reason For Sudden Pain Under The Shoulder Blade?

I have a new sudden pain under my left shoulder blade that is making its was around my left ribs to my chest. All week my breathing feels like I have been swimming too long- when i breathe deep it bothers me. Ice seemed to help for a short period and i am taking ibuprofin but as soon as it wears off im really in pain.

I really appreciate your concern the given history here is suggestive of some infection and the most likely condition would be "Bursitis scapula" if this is the condition then the best option as long as treatment is concern is "Tab Doxycycline 100 mg once in day for 10 days" along with the Tab Diclofenac 50 mg sustain release once in day, if this fails to respond then further investigation would be needed, take care and have nice day.
