Reason For Gas, Rumbling Abdomen, And Catarrh-like Stomach Pain?

Hello Doc, I'm Harry from Cameroon. what can cause a lady aged 36 to be passing out gas always via anus and mouth with a rumbling abdomen and general body weakness, tiredness; accompanied with stools that have catarrh-like plus pain in the stomach, precisely middle thoracic region in between breast.

Thank you for the query.

Such symptoms can be caused by bacterial infection of gastrointestinal tract or inflammatory bowels disease like Crohns disease. Crohns disease is more possible if you also have blood in stool, low hemoglobin level, bloated abdomen.
Please do not ignore your symptoms as this might be serious issue.
Visit your doctor and have some tests done. Blood work, stool tests and abdominal ultrasound should be first. Colonoscopy seems necessary.
