Based on paediatrician s advice we have started him on Thyronorm 25mcg since last 2 days, wanted to know the reason behind this fluctuation in his TSH and also how long will it take to normalise. Best regards, Anirudh
Good day, Are you sure about the year of birth? If he was born in 2012, he would be 5 years old now. In any case, TSH is clearly abnormal and child need further tests to find the cause. Meet an endocrinologist near your locality. Your child needs tests like Anti TPO and thyroid scan. Can not comment on the dose with out knowing his weight.
