Hello and welcome to HCM,
Dark brown discharge can be due to presence of altered blood in the discharge.
There are many causes of vaginal discharge.
Infections, cervical erosion, congestion of pelvic organs are few of the causes of vaginal discharge.
You need to consult your gynecologist for clinical examination and relevant investigations.
Examination of the discharge is required to look for evidence of infection.
In case there is evidence of infection, appropriate antibiotics need to be taken.
Menstrual cycles as short as 2 days can occur in a normal menstrual cycle.

Thanks and take care
