Rashes On Back, Neck And Forehead After Surgery, Puss Filled Raised Bumps. What Could Be This?

My 22 month old son had four surgeries/procedures on Monday and now has a rash over his back, up his neck , and across his forehead . They are raised bumps and a few on the face are puss filled. Any ideas on what it is? I took him into his pedi this morning and he thought heat rash. By this afternoon it had changed in color and the ones on the face had become puss/white liquid filled.

Hello,
Thanks for the query.

You might have developed furuncles.

These are deep bacterial infections.

Treatment is with antibiotics but the choice of antibiotics should be based on culture and sensitivity tests.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.

Let me know if you have any other doubt.
