Rashes on arms, legs, neck, torso, splotcy red skin. Taken oral benadryl, no relief. Treatment?

I have several places on my arms, legs, neck , face, torso, and buttocks area that appear to be a rash , but there are no bumps. My skin has splotchy red areas that are hot to the touch and extremely itchy, and my skin feels very tight. I have taken an oral benadryl , and rubbed benadryl cream on the areas, but there is no relief.
