Raised Beta HCG Levels. Ambrodil Safe During Pregnancy?
dear doc my wife is having throtoxicosis (diag recently 1 mnth back) & she is on neumercazole.also she has raised beta- HCG levels(220),so we are suspecting pregnancy though we were using barrier contraceptives.she has intense couhg & acidity for which she is taking ambrodil s cough syrup and syrup sucralfate .Is it save in pregnancy?

If your wife is pregnant then it is best to avoid any codeine based cough syrups. Taking cough lozenges and herbal preparations like ginger juice are recommended for relief.
