Pus-filled lump on inner thigh near groin, increasing size. Help

I have a pus filled lump on my inner thigh near the groin and when I express it, there is a light brownish puss that oozes out of it. Just 2 days ago it was the size of the tip of my index finger but today it has grown a size that is the diameter of my index finger. I m 32 years old and am 6ft tall. I m overweight i.e., I weigh 245 pounds (normal for my age and height is 180 pounds). Please help.

Dermatologist 's  Response
I would be pleased to answer your question .

I would suggest that you will need to get it checked from the Dermatologist ,
It looks like a furuncle which is an inflammation and infection of the Hair follicles . They get inflamed to form the kind of swelling and discharge that you have described .
You will need to take the antibiotic in the form of a prescription from the Dermatologist as early as possible to prevent any form of infectious complications like septicemia . Blood test to rule out Diabetes would be suggested.

Thanks and take care
